BetterAntispamWebsite Captcha — privacy & data sources
What we collect when you verify
- Your Discord user ID, username, display name and account age, and the server you verify in.
- Your IP address and what kind of network it belongs to (provider, country, VPN / proxy / datacenter).
- Device fingerprints and browser details your browser shares with every website (screen size, languages, platform, hardware, time zone, user agent, graphics card), and whether the browser looks automated.
- The result of the check and the reasons for it.
No permissions are requested and nothing is read from your device beyond what any website can see.
Why
To stop spam, raids, fake and alt accounts, and people evading bans, and to investigate and report abuse. Server staff only see a summary (for example “VPN detected” or “linked to a banned account”), never your raw IP address or fingerprints.
How it’s stored and for how long
Records are encrypted and kept until they are deleted, so ban evasion can still be detected later. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, contact us through the BetterAntiSpam support server: BetterAntiSpam support server
